We are looking for criticism rather than endorsement, and at this stage we would decline an endorsement if it were offered.
There is no contact form on this site, and there will never be one. Not for design reasons — because a website that invites messages about children becomes a route for children to disclose to somebody who is not trained, not available at 2am, and not legally able to help. Email addresses only, all clearly for adults.
Who we would particularly like to hear from
- Child-sexual-abuse-prevention specialists — especially about the decision to make the Wolf somebody the child knows and likes, and about whether the grooming lines sit too close to a real script.
- Child-development specialists — about whether a four-year-old can hold the “behaviour, not people” distinction without becoming generally fearful.
- Early years educators — about whether the sessions are deliverable in a real room, in the real time available.
- Survivors — paid review work, on your terms. See below.
- Accessibility and disability-inclusion reviewers — about the non-verbal ways of telling, and about this site.
- Translators and francophone lyricists — a French edition is planned and a safeguarding text needs more than a good translation.
Survivor review
The work is reading roughly six hundred words plus some notes, and telling us where the language blames the child, where it makes getting away the test, and where it would land badly on somebody it happened to. About two hours. It is paid.
You are never asked to share anything about your own experience. You may decline any part of it. You may stop at any point. You will be credited only if you want to be.
If this is not something you want to do, please just ignore it. No reply needed.

Please do not email us about a specific child. We cannot help, we are not a reporting service, and a message sitting in an inbox is not protection. If you are worried about a child, contact your local child-protection service. If a child is in immediate danger, call emergency services.
On endorsement
No organisation, board, agency or individual will be described anywhere on this site or in any of our materials as a partner, reviewer, supporter or endorser without their explicit written authorisation on file. If you find such a claim, it is an error and we want to know immediately.
