That line is easy to state and easy to check. A single paywalled safety PDF would break it.

- Everything on this website.
- The family sheet and every printable.
- The educator materials.
- The read-aloud video, when it exists.
- The guidance on what to do if a child tells you something.
None of it will ever sit behind a payment, an email address, or an account.
What is sold
- Printed copies of the book.
- Physical classroom kits — printed cards, laminated floor cards, posters.
- Bulk and institutional orders.
- Training and implementation support.
- Translation and territory licensing.
What that revenue pays for
Illustration. Editing. Expert review. Compensating survivor reviewers, which is a real cost and one we consider non-negotiable. Translation. Accessibility work. And donated copies.
What we will not do
- We will not put safety information behind a paywall.
- We will not use abuse statistics as marketing.
- We will not pay for an endorsement, and we will not accept one that is contingent on a purchase.
- We will not run advertising on this site, and we do not use advertising trackers.
- We will not claim this book prevents abuse.
Who owns this
The book and this initiative are published by a for-profit publishing company. We think that is worth saying plainly rather than obscuring behind language that sounds charitable.
The commitments above are how we hold ourselves to a public-benefit standard while being honest about the structure. If the initiative later moves into a non-profit or partners with a registered charity for grant-funded distribution, we will say so on this page and date the change.
